for straight run diesel and coker diesel
¡¡¡¡Aromatic
content in straight run diesel and coker diesel is
generally between 25m% and 35m%, relatively slower than
FCC LCO. Therefore, they can be processed to produce clean
diesel meeting EURO--III, or even EURO--IV via optimizing
operating conditions such as selecting good performance
non-noble metal catalysts, adjusting HPP and lowering
space velocity.

following table lists the tests results of Mid-East
straight run diesel and Shengli Coker diesel.

that some refineries are processing more and more sour
crudes from Mid-East and the aromatics content in the
straight run diesel and coker diesel is over 1m%, direct
production of clean diesel require not only effective
catalysts, but also optimized reactor internals for good
mass distribution, particularly when target sulfur content
in diesel is required lower than 30¦Ìg/g.
