Introduction
Biochemical
engineering is one of the newly developed research fields
of FRIPP. More than 30 researchers are engaged in
microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, chemical engineering
and organic synthesis respectively. After many years¨
efforts on biochemical engineering, FRIPP has developed
two series fine chemicals and one technology of
synthesizing hot-melt adhesives. The fine chemicals are
long-chain dicarboxylic acid (DCA) and macrocyclic musk
perfumes.
