Treating
technology for stripper water
Stripper
water, if operating conditions allow, is reused for
electrical desalting, catalytic rich gas washing, and etc,
which not only save fresh water, but also decrease the
load for sewage disposal plants. If not to be reused, the
stripper water has to go to sewage disposal plants (SDP).
But the ammonia nitrogen and sulfides left in the water
may still cause unstable operation or even breaking down
for the sewage disposal system. Therefore, FRIPP developed
the intermittent activated sludge (SBR) technology.
Using this technology, operation time can be
flexibly determined and adjusted according to the treat
water quality and the requirements of sewage disposal
plants for water inflow and outflow so that the treating
depth can be well controlled. The stripper water can also
be separately treated for qualified discharging. High
flexibility, wide adaptability, and good nitrogen and
carbon removing performance are the unique characteristics
of this technology.
