ADVANCE
IN NOVEL CATALYTICAL MATERIALS
Ling
Fengxiang Tong Guangming ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Abstract
¡¡Catalysts
play a key role in techniques of oil refining and
petrochemicals production. Any new catalyst or new
technology is always based on the development of novel
catalytical materials. The purpose of this paper is
mainly to summarize the recent research status and the
advance in novel catalytical materials both at home
country and abroad, such as new structural zeolites,
heteroatomic zeolites (Ti-Si zeolite and
aluminophosphate-zeolite), novel catalytical materials
of b -zeolite, new chemical modification methods for
Y-zeolite, pillared-layer clay zeolite, MoN, BN,
nanosized materials and so on..

STUDY
ON PHYSICO-CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTIC OF HIGH NITROGEN
TOLERANT Y ZEOLITE
Yin
Zequn ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Abstract
¡¡Two
types of commercially improved Y zeolites (NTY and
USY) are characterized by XRD, IR, NMR, NH4-TPD,
low-temperature nitrogen adsorption and high pressure
micro-reactor. It was found that the high nitrogen
tolerant Y zeolite (NTY), prepared by
hydrothermo-treating NH4Y zeolite followed
by acid treating, showed improved tolerance to
nitrogen and ring-opening ability, compared with USY
(ultrastable Y zeolite).

SUPPORT,
METAL-SUPPORT INTERACTION AND PREPARATION OF
HETEROGENEOUS CATALYSTS
Luo
Xihui ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Abstract
¡¡This
contribution is an attempt to give an overview in
preparing heterogeneous catalysts particularly
associating Mo(W)Ni(Co)/Al2O3 hydrotreating
catalysts and PtRe/Al2O3
reforming catalysts. The discussion is centered on
studying support, metal-support interaction and its
effect on the nature of surface phase (phases), or
surface morphology of support and the related
catalysts on the atomic scale. In conjunction with
TPR, DRS, ESCA, IR, and micro-reactor, a new surface
technique, a new surface technique, PASCA (Positron
annihilation spectroscopy for chemical analysis) was
used to characterize these two kinds of supports and
the related catalysts. Based on these results, ideas
for developing new hydrotreating and catalytic
reforming catalysts are proposed.

Abstract
¡¡This
article describes the R&D of g-Al2O3
as support of CB-8 series of catalytic reforming
catalysts. The reason for good serviceability of this
new type of carrier is also discussed.

Lan
Quan Li Yuansheng ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Abstract
¡¡This
paper gives a brief review on establishing laboratory
of molecule simulation and the research progress. The
discussion is centered on the application of molecule
simulation in the study of catalytic materials. The
molecule simulation system has used to some auxiliary
study on the molecular sieves, and to successfully
analyze the structure of some synthesized products. It
has been used to study the support material of
hydrofining catalysts, and to investigate the
adsorption of various molecular sieves on model
sulfur-containing compounds.
