Location
Fushun
Research Institute of Petroleum and Petrochemicals (FRIPP)
is situated in the west part of the Fushun, Liaoning,
adjacent to Fushun University of Petrochemical Technology
(FUPCT) and Fushun Branch of Coal Research Establishment,
linking Shenyang-Fushun express highway and Dandong Road,
on and along the south bank of Hunhe River in the north.

Communication
Fushun
is located in the East of Liaoning province, situated at
the east longitude of 123<55' and 41<52' north latitude
at an average altitude of 80m. Fushun lies in the
temperate zone under continental climate with distinct
seasons. The annual average temperature is around 6.6<C.
The annual average rainfall is 804.2mm, with 145 days of
non-frost period. It is at the end of the Changbai
Mountains or Long White Mountains, high in the southeast
and low in the northwest, with rolling mountains with
plenty of water, fertile soil, dense forests and all kinds
of abundant natural resources. She is a beautiful city
located on the river plain of Hunhe river by mountains on
three sides in which Hunhe river is just like a colored
ribbon winding through her.

Fushun
occupies a unique geographic location, bordering on Jilin
in the east and 45 km away from Shenyang in the west, next
to Tieling in the north, facing Benxi in the south. She is
50 km away from Shenyang Railway station, 40 km away from
Shenyang Taoxian International Airport. 200 km away from
seaport of Yingkou and 400 km away from that of Dalian.
Convenient transportation system connects Heihe-Dalian,
Shenyang-Huanren, Tieling-Changchun, Benxi-Huanren,
Benxi-Tonghua, Shenyang-Tonghua and Qingyuan-Xinbin
expressway and highway.
